What we put forward is not years on the clock but our certification and our method — both of which can be verified.
OBZ Rope Access carries out facade and work-at-height projects across Istanbul. We are a young team and we say so openly. A company barely a year old claiming to be an “industry leader” is not credible, and unverifiable claims erode trust. We lead with what can be checked instead.
The Industrial Rope Access Trade Association sets the globally recognised standard for rope access. A significant share of teams working in this field in Türkiye do not hold it.
The official certificate evidencing work-at-height competence, covering equipment use, anchor rigging and emergency response.
Occupational health and safety training, which underpins the pre-work risk assessment and the site safety plan.
Every working day starts with an equipment check: rope, carabiners, harness, descender and back-up device are each inspected. The working rope and the safety rope are rigged to two independent anchors; rigging both to the same anchor defeats the principle. The ground below the work area is cordoned off. No work is carried out in wind, rain or icing conditions.
We do not yet hold an insurance policy and we have not built up a portfolio of completed projects. We state this rather than hide it, because these are questions you should ask when taking quotes — from us and from anyone else. The policy is in progress and will be noted on this page once it is in place.
Just tell us how many floors your building has and what you see on the facade. We’ll arrange the survey; the survey fee is deducted from the total if we carry out the work.
