Work-at-Height Installation

In most cases there is no need to hire a crane or erect scaffolding to install equipment on a facade.

Unlike facade cleaning, installation is concentrated at a single point — which is exactly why a crane or scaffold is uneconomical: days of setup for a few hours of work.

Scope

Signage and built-up letters

Fixed to structural elements with weight and wind load accounted for.

Advertising panels and banners

Large surfaces generate significant wind loading; fixing points are selected accordingly.

AC condensers

Installation and removal, including brackets and vibration isolation.

CCTV and lighting

Together with cable routing and trunking.

Compared with a crane

A boom lift is fast where the ground allows it and nothing blocks access. In most Istanbul buildings it does not: narrow streets, parked cars, trees and pavement width make setup impossible. A lift is also limited in reach; with rope access there is no height limit as long as the roof allows rigging.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a weight limit?

The weight that can be handled on rope is limited. Very heavy elements may need a crane; we determine this at survey and say so plainly.

Can equipment be fixed to the cladding alone?

No. Heavy equipment fixed only to cladding eventually tears it away; fixings must reach a structural element capable of carrying the load.

Let’s talk about what your facade needs

Just tell us how many floors your building has and what you see on the facade. We’ll arrange the survey; the survey fee is deducted from the total if we carry out the work.
