01 — Our services

Every facade job, on rope

Any hard-to-reach point on your building’s exterior falls within our scope. If you need something not listed below, write to us — we will inspect the facade and assess feasibility together.

— 01

Facade Cleaning

A dirty facade affects more than appearance — it shortens the life of the cladding. We select the method and cleaning agent to suit the surface, so the cladding is never damaged.

  • Glass curtain wall
  • Composite panel
  • Natural stone
  • Painted surface

Exterior Painting

Paint life depends far more on surface preparation than on application. Flaking layers are removed and cracks filled before primer and topcoat go on, with every stage checked from the rope.

  • Surface prep
  • Primer
  • Topcoat
  • Colour selection

Sealant and Joint Renewal

Damp patches and water stains inside flats usually originate from worn facade joints. The old sealant is removed completely, the surface cleaned, and new sealant applied.

  • Panel gaps

Facade and Insulation Repair

Falling render and bulging insulation become a falling-object hazard over time. Unsafe sections are removed under control and the surface rebuilt, always prioritising points that threaten safety.

  • Render loss
  • Cracks
  • Bulging insulation
  • Parapets

Bird and Pigeon Proofing

Pigeon droppings corrode cladding and create a hygiene problem. We fit discreet spike barriers and netting to ledges, balcony soffits and air-conditioning units.

  • Bird spikes
  • Protective netting
  • AC units
  • Ledges and balconies

Work-at-Height Installation

There is no need to hire a crane or erect scaffolding to install equipment on a facade. From signage to AC condensers, installation is completed far faster on rope.

  • Advertising panels
  • AC condensers
  • CCTV

Lifeline System Installation

A permanent anchor system for everyone working on the roof or facade. EN 795 compliant horizontal lifeline design, installation and the mandatory annual inspection.

  • Single anchors

02 — Method

Scaffolding is overkill for most facade work

The work itself usually takes a few days. Erecting scaffolding, leaving it up and dismantling it takes weeks — and for that entire period your facade is covered and your car park is occupied.

03 — Buildings we work on

Every building needs a different approach

A residential glass curtain wall and an industrial panel facade are not cleaned the same way. The work plan changes with building type, cladding material and how intensively the building is used.

Residential ComplexesPlanned floor by floor, without disrupting residents’ daily routine.
Offices and Business CentresOut-of-hours and weekend work keeps office life untouched.
HotelsQuiet, visually unobtrusive work that protects guest comfort.
HospitalsWard by ward, in line with hygiene and noise requirements.
Shopping CentresOutside peak hours, with entrances kept open.
Factories and WarehousesPanel facades, eaves and roofs without halting production.
SchoolsScheduled for holidays and out-of-class hours.
Public BuildingsCertified, fully documented work for specification-driven contracts.
04 — How we work

From first message to handover, five steps

We do not quote without seeing the facade. Surface type, floor count, anchor conditions and scope can only be determined on site. The survey is chargeable, but the survey fee is deducted from the total if we carry out the work.

01

First call

We take the district, floor count, cladding type and the work you have in mind. Most questions are resolved at this stage.

02

Site survey

We visit the building and inspect the facade, roof anchor points and access conditions. The survey fee is deducted from the total if you award us the work.

03

Written quote

Scope, materials, estimated duration and price are set out in writing. Anything outside scope is stated explicitly.

04

Execution

On the day, anchors are rigged, all equipment is inspected, the ground area below is cordoned off and work begins.

05

Handover

We inspect the facade together, remove all equipment and hand the site back clean.

05 — About us and certification

Know who you are putting on your building

OBZ Rope Access carries out facade and work-at-height projects across Istanbul. We are a young team and we say so openly. What we put forward is not years on the clock but our certification and our method — both of which can be verified.

International standard

IRATA Certification

The Industrial Rope Access Trade Association sets the globally recognised standard for rope access. A significant share of teams working in this field in Türkiye do not hold it.

National competence

Work-at-Height Certificate

The official certificate evidencing work-at-height competence. It covers equipment use, anchor rigging and emergency response.

Health and safety

OHS Certificate

Occupational health and safety training. It underpins the pre-work risk assessment and the site safety plan.
